Happy Birthday Mom

Christmas aside, for me December really does feel like a whirlwind of love.

I get to celebrate five years of wedded life this coming weekend with my husband, and to kick off the month we get to celebrate my beautiful mom’s birthday today.

Sixty-something years ago on this day, humanity was graced with an amazing, giving and loving soul.

And I’m hers.

I am truly, unequivocally, the luckiest girl on earth.

Mom, I hope this day is everything you want it to be.

I love you.
